What actually happens out there

Chickenstock is a three-day music festival held every second weekend of June at Chicken Gold Camp. MP 66 on the Taylor Highway, deep in Interior Alaska. The lineup is all Alaskan. The eats are local. There's a Peep Drop from a helicopter. People do the Chicken Dance in full chicken costumes for a world record attempt. It sells out every single year.

It's one of those places where everyone who makes the drive feels like they earned something. No cell service, no Wi-Fi, no public utilities of any kind. Just music, mountains, and a flock of people who really wanted to be there.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your sponsorship dollars actually go toward making the festival happen, and yes, it's tax-deductible.

There's no signal in Chicken.
You could change that.

Chicken, Alaska has no cell towers. No internet. People actually love it that way. But they also really want to post their photos.

That's where you come in. One brand gets to be the carrier. Every device that connects sees your name. Every photo that gets posted from the grounds goes out through your network. You're not just a logo on a banner. You're the reason the internet works out here.

Sponsorship Packages

The packages.
Pick your perch.

The Wi-Fi sponsorship is the headline. One brand, the only carrier in Chicken, AK. Ground signage is available as an add-on to the connectivity package or as a standalone. Reach out and we'll talk through what works.

🚩
Grounds Signage
Feather Banners + A-Frames · Add-On or Standalone

Feather banners lining the approach, A-frames at the entry and vendor areas. Your brand is in the backdrop of every photo taken at the gate. Available as an add-on to the Connectivity package or on its own.

  • A-frame signage at entry and vendor areas
  • Logo on event printed materials
  • Placement along the approach road from the highway
  • Can be bundled with the Connectivity sponsorship or booked standalone

The numbers marketing
departments run on.

Every sponsorship at Chickenstock is an integrated brand experience, not a banner placement. Here's how it stacks up against the metrics your team already uses to evaluate spend.

Cost Per Thousand Impressions — Industry Benchmarks

Programmatic Display $2–5 1–2 sec

Chickenstock — Captive Portal $0 per skip 15–45 sec
no alternative exists

Industry CPM benchmarks per WordStream, HubSpot, and IAB 2024 reports. Attention data per Meta internal research and Nielsen.

🚫

Zero Skip Rate

65–80% of skippable pre-roll gets skipped. 86% of users have banner blindness. At Chickenstock there is no skip button, no other network, no cell signal to fall back on. Your brand is the only show in town.

📧

Email Acquisition Cost

Paid social gets you an opt-in for $5–15 per contact. These are people who drove to Interior Alaska on purpose and handed you their email at the gate. That list comes with the package.

🎯

Audience Quality

Chickenstock sells out every year. Everyone there drove hours on gravel to get there. For brands targeting Fairbanks and Interior Alaska, this is a self-selected high-intent audience no programmatic buy can reach.

🤝

Community Brand Lift

Alaskans support brands that show up. Sponsoring Chickenstock isn't a media buy. It's a signal that your brand belongs here. 89% of consumers say they're more loyal to brands that share their values (Edelman).

How does the captive portal actually work? →

The Short Version

You're not buying impressions. You're buying integration at a festival people actually love, with an audience that actually showed up, in a format they literally cannot skip.
